Who We Are

The Neighborhood Law and Policy Clinic takes a community-based approach to serving the civil legal needs of the indigent population of D.C., keeping abreast of local trends in order to maintain a caseload responsive to community needs.

We are taking cases in the following areas:

-- Shelter cases (terminations or affirmative rights cases)

-- Section 8 voucher/HCVP terminations

-- Housing Conditions Court cases

-- TANF & food stamps cases (overpayments, terminations, eligibility issues, work issues)

-- Early termination of parole (for those who have been on parole 5+ years)
