Lawyer Referral Service is a phone service.  The staff is ready to assist you by telephone.  A brief interview will help to determine the legal nature of your problem, and you will be given the name of an attorney who regularly handles your kind of legal situations and who is located in an area convenient to you.  In some cases, the LRS staff may determine that your problem may not require the services of an attorney or you may be better served by a government agency.  Those relevant numbers will be made available to you.
