Archdiocesan Legal Network of Catholic Charities
 
Who We Are

The Archdiocesan Legal Network provides pro bono legal services to low income individuals. Legal subject areas addressed by this program are: landlord/tenant, government entitlements, domestic relations issues, employment, wills and probate, conservatorships and guardianships, power of attorney agreements and insolvency/bankruptcy.

Who We Serve

Area(s) Served:  All State
 
We serve D.C. and the following counties in Maryland: Montgomery, Prince George's, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's.
Languages Spoken  French, Spanish
Interpreters can be provided for: When the Legal Network places the case of a non-English speaking client with a pro bono attorney, the client should be prepared to have an interpreter accompany him/her to the appointment with the attorney volunteer.

Income Guidelines: 

  ALN uses a slightly modified version of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to determine client eligibility for pro bono legal services.
 
 
Services We Offer
This group provides the following types of services based on your legal needs and its resources:
 
  Full Legal Representation- The Archdiocesan Legal Network is a pro bono placement program. It does not provide full legal representation at the time of intake. The Legal Network does not have the resources to handle emergency cases.
