Who We Are
The Resource Center offers legal information and advice to owners of and interested parties in real estate that may be or has been sold for unpaid D.C. real property taxes. Lawyers will be available to
Answer questions about the tax sale and redemption process;
Help defendants determine payoff amounts and negotiate legal fees;
Discuss financing options; and
Assist with drafting pro se pleadings and obtaining continuances.
There are no income limits, though you must be an individual person (not a corporation or other business entity) to receive services.
