The Office represents utility consumers in cases before the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia involving gas, electric, and telephone companies as well as before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Federal Communications Commission. It also provides individual assistance to D.C. consumers' with utility complaints. Consumers will be referred to the Office's consumer services division or to an attorney who will provide assistance in resolving the matter.
