Who We Are

The DCEJC can advise workers in all employment-related cases including unpaid wages, overtime, sexual harassment, termination, discrimination, workers' compensation, family and medical leave, pension benefits, as well as criminal records. Intakes are conducted through our walk-in Workers' Rights Clinics.

The EJC clinic has a limited capacity and operates on a first come, first serve basis. Workers seeking advice are advised to arrive early (approx. one hour before the clinic) to put their name on the list.

NW Clinic -- Every Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (the list begins approx. 5:00 p.m.) at Bread for the City NW. 1525 7th St NW.

SE Clinic -- Two Fridays per month, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bread for the City SE. 1640 Good Hope Rd SE. Upcoming SE clinic dates are: May 4, May 18, June 8, and June 22, 2012.

Please contact the clinic manager with any questions about these dates, schedule changes, or the Workers' Rights Clinic in general.
