Quality Trust's Legal Education and Advocacy Program works on a broad range of systemic and individual matters that impact the lives of District residents with developmental disabilities (DD). Quality Trust attorneys provide legal advice, counseling, limited representation, and referral to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families on a wide range of issues including guardianship and alternatives, financial accountability, end of life planning, access to services from the Developmental Disability Administration (DDA), Social Security, Medicaid, landlord tenant and public housing, abuse and neglect, special education, immigration, family law, assistive technology, and domestic violence.
