Medicaid - Keeping Medicaid after Welfare Transition Program Ends You and your family can get Transitional
Medicaid Assistance (TMA) for up to twelve
months if you lose your WTP due to
income from work earnings. The first six
months of TMA is available regardless of the
amount of money you earn. That means,
you and your family will remain
eligible for Medicaid for six months no
matter how much you earn. The second six
months of TMA is available if the
family?s average gross monthly earnings do
not exceed a certain limit set by the state.
