보증금 (SECURITY DEPOSITS)
보증금이란 세입자 (Tenant) 가 집주인 (Landlord) 에게 지불하는 돈입니다. 보증금은 세입자가 집세를 안내거나 집을 손상시키고 이사해 나갈 경우를 대비해 집주인을 보호하기 위한 계약금입니다. ?손해 계약금 (Damages Deposit),? ?애완 동물 계약금 (Pet Deposits)? 과 ?집세 선불금 (Advance Rent Deposits)? 등이 보증금으로 간주됩니다. 애완 동물 수수료 (Pet Fees) 는 보증금으로 간주되지 않습니다. 만약세입자가 세들어 사는 동안 법을 준수하고 세 들어 살던 아파트를 손상하지 않았다면 집주인은 보증금을 돌려 주어야 합니다.
