Free State Tax Filing Online in Georgia

For tax year 2007, the Georgia Department of Revenue has developed new programs that offer free electronic filing options for those taxpayers who qualify. These programs include free electronic filing of the Georgia These free filing options are for Georgia state returns only and you may still have a federal filing obligation. All of these services are free, secure and user friendly.

The Georgia Department of Revenue has entered into an agreement with the companies listed on their site to offer free electronic filing services to qualified Georgia taxpayers. Under this agreement, taxpayers can file their Georgia personal income tax returns using approved software. Please read the information below or visit each company's web site to determine whether you meet their free electronic filing criteria.

Online filing options will be available in January, 2008. More information on how to efile through this service coming soon!
