Hawaii State Clearinghouse On Missing Children

The Hawai`i State Clearinghouse on Missing Children operates as a Hawai`i response center for missing children adminsitered through the Crime Prevention Division of the Attorney General's Office. The agency is linked to all Hawai`i county police departments, the FBI, all mainland U.S. police agencies through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), all mainland children's clearinghouses through computer hookups with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and national as well as state databases to enable the "tracking" of abductors and/or "missing children" through drivers licenses, vehicle registration, social security numbers and credit information.
