| The Hawaii State Bar Association has sponsored the LRIS for over twenty - six (27) years, since February 1975, and the Lawyer Referral & Information Service, (LRIS), receives over 26,000 phone calls per year from individuals seeking the assistance of an attorney. Callers are referred to our attorney members in over 25 fields of law statewide. Neighbor island (808 area code only) callers in need of assistance are encouraged to call collect for a referral. |
