The Arc of Maui provides servcies to persons with developmental disabilities with the following characteristics.  They are homeless, (State Homeless Institution closed July 2000); they are disadvantaged: they are a minority: they are up to 25% of the poverty level; finally, they are mentally retarded (with overshadows the other issues).

This organization serves the County of Maui - Maui, Moloka`i, and Lana`i
Interpreters can be provided for: Based of the needs on whom we serve.
Wheelchair Accessible Y
Income Guidelines: 
  Your family's income should be at or below 125.0% of the poverty level.
(Get more information about income guidelines.)
  Persons must be developmentally disabled and be eligible by the department of health for servies. Intake is done by DD Division of the DOH who refer indiviuals and families to providers for them to choose. Medical, psychological, and social history is most helpful.
 
Other Requirements: For help, you must be:
  You must be a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant.
  This program does not serve prisoners
