Legal Aid Group Targets Needy (3/31/2004)

The Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i is recruiting attorneys and volunteers for a Partnership in Pro Bono project.

Partnership in Pro Bono will link attorneys to residents who have legitimate civil legal claims, but lack the resources to hire an attorney.

Volunteer attorneys are asked to contribute a minimum of six hours, or one case per year. Legal Aid also seeks nonattorney volunteers to serve as paralegals and as volunteer guardians ad litem in family court. For more information, call 527-8025.
