The Iowa Child Support Advisory Committee will hold public hearings in Tipton, Council Bluffs, and Des Moines to solicit comments on the Iowa Supreme Court's Child Support Guidelines. 

The Advisory Committee will use testimonies from these hearings in forming recommendations to the Iowa Supreme Court for its periodic review of the child support guidelines.  These guidelines are used to determine the amount of court ordered child support payments.     

The public hearings will be: 

• Tuesday, February 6, 2007, 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Cedar County Courthouse, 400 Cedar Street, Tipton.  
• Wednesday, February 14, 2007, 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Council Bluffs Public Library,
  400 Willow Avenue, Council Bluffs.
• Tuesday, February 27, 2007, 5:00 – 6:30 PM at the Franklin Avenue Library, 5000 Franklin Avenue, Des Moines. 

In addition to the public hearings, written comments may be submitted t  Child Support Advisory Committee, 400 SW 8th Street, Suite H, Des Moines, IA  50309-4633.  Written comments must be received by March 1, 2007.
