LCADV is a coalition of all domestic violence programs in Louisiana. It maintains a 24-hour, toll-free domestic violence hotline through which callers are routed to the program nearest the caller. It provides technical assistance and training to member programs and other interested organizations, on issues related to domestic violence. It engages in social change work, including public and private organization policy analysis and legislative education, with the goal of ending domestic violence throughout the state and nation. LCADV also provides funding for enhancement and growth (outreach) of member programs.
