CALSC is a non-profit private corporation providing civil legal services to the indigent in a 12 parish area. Its underlying premise is that everyone, regardless of income or status, is entitled to access to the courts. The types of cases it most commonly handles are family, consumer, public benefits, bankruptcy and housing.
