Choose ONE of the following ways to get help:

Who We Serve
See below for an explanation of restrictions on who we can serve.
 
Area(s) Served:  Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, West Carroll
 
Persons living in the service area with cases pending in other areas can be referred to Legal Services in those areas, including out of state. Acceptance is determined by the Legal Services program receiving the referral.
Interpreters can be provided for: Spanish, and other languages given sufficient time to obtain an interpreter
Wheelchair Accessible Y
Access for the deaf: Interpreter will be provided and State relay service utilized
Income Guidelines: 
  Your family's income should be at or below 125.0% of the poverty level.

Regular/normal income guidelines do not apply currently. Individual may be over 125% and still qualify for services as long as special grant in place. Individuals with these type issues should call to see if they qualify regardless of income.
 
Other Requirements: For help, you must be:
  This program does not serve prisoners
  This program does not serve Undocumented immigrants
 
There are no attorney fees for service. Clients must pay court costs and other fees if required by the court.

Emergency Instructions
If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
 
What is an emergency?  Emergencies include those who have been sued, are victims of domestic violence, or who have court dates.
 
Emergency contact information:  In event of emergency, call 318-699-0889 or walk into the office. Office hours: 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
