Sample Debt Collection Cease and Desist Letters These letters are examples of what you could write to a debt collector to ask them to stop contacting you. It is important to put them in your own words and keep a copy of the letter you send. If possible, send the letter by certified mail with a return receipt requested, so you will know the debt collector got it.
Sample Garnishment Exemption Notice This sample form can be used if your earnings are being garnished and you would like to claim them as exempt.
