that a newborn baby automatically gets Medicaid if the mother is receiving it? This is because of the Automatic Newborn Program. This program gives the baby Medicaid coverage for up to one year. The baby must be living with the mother in Montana. The mother must be eligible for Medicaid. And, the household must have a limited amount of money.
