Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) nis a statewide, nonprofit law that provides free legal services in civil matters to low-income people in order to ensure equal access to justice and to remove legal barriers to economic opportunity. The legal staff of Legal Aid of NC - New Bern Office provides legal assistance in civil matters to eligible, low-income clients who have problems with their basic needs and live in the five-county area surrounding New Bern, NC:
Beaufort County
Carteret County
Craven County
Jones County
Pamlico County

Brief Advice
Pro Se Legal Clinic- We provide a Pro Se Divorce Clinic once a month at the Craven Regional Library in New Bern and 4 times a year at the Webb Memorial Library in Morehead City. Four (4) Pro Se Custody Clinic are held at same libraries twice a year.
