The mission of The Women's Center is to promote the individual and collective empowerment of the diverse community of women and girls in the Triangle.  We provide financial, legal, career, adolescent education, support, and referral services.  The Women's Center is located at 210 Henderson Street in downtown Chapel Hill.  Please call 919-968-4610 for more information or visit our website at www.womenspace.org.  The Women's Center serves more than 5,000 area women with around 350 volunteers and more than 10,000 combined volunteer hours.  Scholarships available for all programs.

  There may be a waiting list for specific appointments at different times throughout the year (such as when the law students are on summer vacation).

We sell our "Family Law in North Carolina" booklet (available in English and Spanish) for $10. Our other legal services are free.

This group provides the following types of services based on your legal needs and its resources:
 
  Brief Advice- We provide legal information to the public.
  Pro Se Legal Clinic- We develop and staff legal clinics and workshops.
  Self-Help Materials- We have a "Family Law in North Carolina" educational booklet that you may buy for $10.00.
