Are you a parent who is divorced, separated, or never married?
Do you have children to support?
Do you need help getting a child support order?
Do you need help collecting child support from the other parent?
You can get help to apply for child support. You can get help to get medical support. You can get help collecting child support.
You can get help from the child support agency. You have to be a person or a parent with custody of a child.
It doesn't matter that you have had help from other family programs.
An unmarried parent can apply for help to prove paternity.
You don't have to have custody.
Proving paternity means proving who the father of the child is.
A parent does not have physical custody. He/she was ordered to make child support payments by the court.
That parent can make the payments through the people at Child Support Enforcement. They make a record of the payments.
