Urban Justice Center - Homelessness Outreach & Prevention Project

WHO WE ARE

The Homelessness Outreach and Prevention Project (HOPP) of the Urban Justice Center represents low and no-income people, including homeless and marginally housed individuals, in cases involving public assistance, food stamps, and emergency rental assistance. This representation includes representation at fair hearings and Article 78 proceedings, as well as state and federal court representation on class action and impact litigation matters. HOPP also provides appropriate referrals regarding other problems, including housing court assistance and SSI issues. Please note that we are not able to provide individual housing court assistance.
