CAMBA Legal Services (CLS) is the legal services arm of CAMBA, which is a non-profit agency that provides services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. CLS provides anti-eviction legal services to families with children who are eligible for Emergency Assistance to Families and/or TANF services; working poor families and individuals whose household income is below the self-sufficiency standard for Brooklyn. These services include representation in Housing Court, administrative government benefits advocacy and advice and counsel. CLS also provides legal assistance to immigrants including advice and counsel, application assistance, and legal representation in immigration matters. Additionally, CLS provides legal assistance in consumer matters and foreclosure assistance.
