Make the Road New York Jackson Heights Office

WHO WE ARE

Make the Road New York builds the power of working class and Latino communities to acheive dignity and justice through organizing, policy innovation, trasnformative education, and the provision of survival services. We work through community-based offices located in three of the highest density, greatest need immigrant neighborhoods of new York City - Bushwick, Brooklyn; Jackson Heights, Queens; and Port Richmond, Staten Island. Our Legal Services Team provides direct services to low-income New Yorkers on the range of civil legal matters with a particular focus on employment, tenants' rights, and public benefit cases. All staff are fully bilingual in Spanish and English, and experienced in representing clients, regardless of immigration status.
