This group provides assistance to people living on the West Side of Manhattan above 110th Street, people living on the East Side of Manhattan above 96th Street, or to people who are patients in hospitals or inmates at correctional centers in Manhattan, Brooklyn or the Bronx.

Languages for which interpreters can be provided: This group has staff members that can speak limited French. This group can also arrange for interpreters for any language on a long-term basis.

| If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted. |

| What is an Emergency? Victims of domestic violence; persons just evicted or about to be evicted; recent removal of a child by child welfare authorities; future planning for a person's child if she/he is extremely ill. |
