| WHO WE ARE |
NMIC is a community based not-for-profit organization. The Legal Services Department provides free civil legal services to residents of Washington Heights, Inwood and the surrounding communities. The office also provides senior legal services to residents living north of 110th Street, emergency housing legal services from the Civil Court office to all Manhattan residents and impact and class action litigation involving lead poisoning and environmental concerns.
