| WHO WE ARE |
Dwa Fanm (which translates as "Women's Rights" in Haitian Creole) is a non-profit community-based organization which serves primarily Haitian, Caribbean, and African immigrant victims of domestic violence. The legal department, Jistis Pou Fanm, (which translates as "Justice for Women" in Haitian Creole) provides free civil legal services to eligible victims of domestic violence.

Dwa Fanm (que se traduce como "los Derechos de la Mujer" en criollo haitiano) es una organización de base comunitaria sin fines de lucro, que sirve principalmente los inmigrantes victimas de violencia domestica de Haití, el Caribe. El departamento jurídico, Jistis Fanm Pou, (que se traduce como "Justicia para la Mujer" en criollo haitiano) ofrece servicios legales civiles para las víctimas de la violencia doméstica.

Emergency Instructions

| If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted. |

| What is an Emergency? A woman with an emergency can and should contact us immediately. An emergency is when a woman has been served with divorce papers, family court papers, or has a scheduled court appearance within one week. |
