WHO WE ARE

Gay Men's Health Crisis' Legal Services Department provides a continuum of practical and concrete HIV specific legal services that are critical to obtaining and maintaining access to food, housing, medical care and employment.

HOW TO GET HELP
   To contact this group, VISIT ITS OFFICE at  119 West 24th Street, 7th floor, New York, NY 10011
 
 Tuesday: 10:00- 12:30 and 2:00-5:30
  Cross Streets: between 9th and 10th Avenues
  Directions: By train (to 34th St.): 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, B, D, F, M, N, Q, R By bus: M34 (34th St. crosstown) and M11 (south on 9th Ave., north on 10th Ave.)
  Bring proof of HIV status, such as an M11Q, a doctor's letter or lab report, and the documents related to the legal problem.
  Client Advocacy handles Medicare and Prescription Drugs on the 5th floor at GMHC. For general information or to find out how to make an appointment at one of GMHC's sites in the Bronx, Brooklyn, or Queens, call 212-367-1040.

Languages Spoken:  French, Hindi, Urdu, Russian, German, Spanish
Languages for which interpreters can be provided: We have staff that can translate French, German, Russian, and Yoruba. Other translation services are available with the assistance of our colleagues in other CBOs.
