WHO WE ARE

 The Fair Housing Justice Center assists individuals and organizations with allegations of illegal housing discrimination. The following services are provided free of charge:

1. Counseling on fair housing rights

2. Investigative assistance (including testing)

3. Referrals to cooperating attorneys and/or administrative agencies.

Languages Spoken:  Spanish
Languages for which interpreters can be provided: FHJC has interpretation services available in 164 languages, including Russian, Korean, dialects of Chinese, etc. English, Spanish and Mandarin language capacities. For Mandarin-speaking callers, please call (212) 400-8214, and for Spanish-speaking callers, please call Vanessa Gonzalez at (212) 400-8201.

Access for the deaf: Persons with hearing impairments may also use our TRS services to contact the FHJC. The TRS phone number is (800) 662-1220.

  Self-Help Materials
  Other- The FHJC provides counseling and investigative services (including testing), legal referrals to cooperating attorneys, and self-help materials to individuals and organizations with housing discrimination complaints.
