MFY Legal Services, Inc. - Consumer Rights Project
 
WHO WE ARE

MFY Legal Services, Inc. provides free legal assistance, from advice to full representation, on many civil legal issues. The Consumer Rights Project provides advice, counsel and legal representation to low-income New Yorkers who are the victims of an improper judgment, financial scam, credit or identity theft, or other form of financial exploitation. MFY also provides assistance to New Yorkers facing foreclosure because of a sub-prime mortgage. MFY serves low-income people from all five boroughs of New York City.

MFY's Consumer Rights Project also provides community-based legal education to neighborhood-based groups, social service organizations, and senior centers.

Residents of New York City who cannot afford to hire an attorney.
Languages Spoken:  French, Haitian Creole, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Hindi, Tagalog, Spanish
Languages for which interpreters can be provided: In house translation is provided for languages listed above and also for Fujienese and Malayaman; for other languages, telephonic translation is provided. En Español Proveemos traducción interno para los idiomas mencionados antes. Para los otros idiomas traducción telefónica es disponible.
Wheelchair Accessible: Y
Access for the deaf: Can arrange for American Sign Language interpreters.
