| WHO WE ARE |
We provide assistance to retirees and their dependents with issues relating to pension benefits. We serve workers and retired workers in New York and New Jersey, regardless of income or resource holdings. We provide advice, brief services, and representation before pension plans, and the New York Litigation Project provides representation in court for low income individuals. We are part of South Brooklyn Legal Services.

Serves all residents of New York State and New Jersey and individuals who have a pension problem related to a company or pension plan in New York or New Jersey. Income restrictions do not apply.

Languages for which interpreters can be provided: Spanish and Russian, Haitian Creole, Chinese and may other languages through a telephone interpreter service.

Full Legal Representation- In general, representation in court by the South Brooklyn Legal Services' Pension Litigation Project is restricted to individuals meeting the the income and asset requirements of Legal Services New York City.
Brief Advice- Counseling and advice, and nonlitigation advocacy when appropriate.
Other- Brief Services. This project does not provide financial planning or investment advice.
