| WHO WE ARE |
inMotion, Inc. provides legal services to low-income women in the five boroughs of NYC. They accept cases that deal with contested and uncontested divorce, orders of protection, custody/visitation, child and spousal support, and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) self-petitions for immigration status.
inMotion also maintains an office on-site at the Queens Family Justice Center in Kew Gardens; and an on-site office at the New York City Family Justice Center. In order for women to receive services at the Family Justice Centers, they must be survivors or victims of domestic violence. InMotion cannot accept walk-in clients in the Manhattan office.

If a court action is pending, it is recommended to have the court papers on hand when calling.

You must be a woman who is a resident of Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, or Staten Island. To be helped at the Queens, Brooklyn, or Bronx Family Justice Centers, you must live in the borough and be a survivor or victim of domestic violence.

| If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted. |

| What is an Emergency? Women who have been served with divorce papers or have a scheduled court appearance before the Thursday intake may call any day of the week between 9:30am and 5:30pm for advice and brief services. |
