| WHO WE ARE |
|
The Unemployment Insurance Advocacy Project provides legal advice and
representation to unemployed workers seeking unemployment insurance (UI)
benefits. UI is a critical source of income support to unemployed workers
providing eligible workers with up to $405 a week for up to 26 weeks. To
be eligible for UI a worker must have lost her job due to no fault of her
own.

This program can accept individuals with incomes up to 200% of the poverty level if the person has special circumstances such as high medical bills, child care expenses, or other debts.
