WHO WE ARE

Law Services is a non-profit,  public interest law firm that provides free legal assistance in civil matters to low-income and disabled Long Islanders.  We are dedicated to the principle that our less advantaged neighbors should have access to quality legal assistance when they need it.  We believe strongly in equal justice and know how important it is to the well-being of our community that the legal rights of the poor are protected.

  Your family's income should be at or below 200.0% of the poverty level.

  Mentally ill are referred to specialized units We do serve documented immigrants.
 
Income guidelines are 80% of the region median income (Nassau and Suffolk Counties) as set by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
 
Other Requirements: For help, you must be:
  You must be a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant.
  This program does not serve prisoners
