The Polish and Slavic Center (PSC) is a non-profit social and cultural services organization that primarily serves the Polish-American and Slavic-American community of New York and New Jersey. The assistance rendered ranges from housing and protective services to health-related and Information and referral services.    Coalition for the Homeless (Separate Website)
Coalition for the Homeless provides advocacy, youth services, housing, mobile soup kitchen, crisis intervention, voice mail and job training in New York.
  
   
   Community Service Society - Eviction Prevention Program (Separate Website)
This organization provides information, referrals and advocacy for tenants and homeowners threatened with homelessness. They help apply for a "one-shot deal" or ongoing public assistance to pay rent arrears and advise all applicants on eligibility for "Jiggetts" relief. Clients receive referrals to appropriate legal services, budget and credit counseling, or protective services for adults. Their staff follows up until the eviction or foreclosure has stopped and rent or mortgage arrears are paid.
