The Adult Home Advocacy Project (AHAP) of MFY Legal Services represents mentally disabled residents of adult homes in all five boroughs of New York City. The AHAP staff does outreach and education at the homes with a view to correcting poor physical conditions, ensuring residents' rights to their limited funds and enforcing residents' personal rights.  The AHAP pursues individual and affirmative litigation on issues that impact adult home residents.
