InMotion, Inc. is dedicated to making quality professional legal services available to indigent and working-poor women in the five boroughs of New York City. InMotion recruits, trains, and actively supervises volunteer attorneys with cases that include contested and uncontested divorces, orders of protection, custody/visitation, child and spousal support, and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) self-petitions for immigration status. InMotion maintains an office in Manhattan to serve women residing in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. InMotion also has an office in Queens to serve women residing in Queens. InMotion conducts monthly legal clinics, usually on the second Saturday of each month, thus affording the participant an opportunity for individual consultation.
