Main Street Legal Services, Inc., Immigrant and Refugee Rights Clinic
Interns at the Immigrant and Refugee Rights Clinic represent asylum seekers in administative hearings in Immigration Court and write briefs to the Board of Immigration Appeals. They work to secure residency for battered immigrant women - and stive to meet the social service needs of immigrants with serious medical needs or other extenuating circumstances. In addition, interns work on Family Petitions and Adjustment of Status as well as Consular processing for family members seeing to join relatives here in the US.
