Manhattan Legal Services provides free legal services in civil matters to low-income residents of Manhattan. Areas we cover are landlord & tenant law, Social Security Administration hearings, Earned Income Tax Credit audits, unemployment hearings, food stamp applications, public benefit denials, victims of domestic violence, people living with HIV/AIDS, Family Law, limited Immigration matters and other areas.

SRO Unit represents residents of Single Room Occupancy hotels who reside
on the eastside and anywhere below 14th street.  This Unit represents
residents who are having tenancy issues.
