My Sisters' Place provides legal services to domestic violence victims in Westchester County. Staff attorneys specialize in family law, including custody, visitation, child support, and orders of protection. My Sisters' Place also provides limited services in the area of divorce -- My Sisters' Place runs a pro se uncontested divorce clinic and provides referrals for contested divorces. The Immigration Unit assists domestic violence victims with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Self- petitions and Battered Spouse Waivers as well as U-Visas for undocumented immigrant victims of crime. |
