Queens Legal Services also provides assistance in consumer, employment, health, matrimonial and public school education, and deals with the special problems faced by older people, victims of domestic violence and people with disabilities including HIV and AIDS.
The Education Rights Project provides advice and representation to low-income parents of NYC public school children in areas of education law that include special education, suspensions, NCLBA, 504 plans and transportation. |
