Brooklyn Legal Services, Corporation A - Litigation Unit - Predatory Lending
Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A (Brooklyn A) has been the primary
provider of civil legal services throughout North and East Brooklyn for 35
years. Our clients are low-income individuals, families and local groups
who otherwise would not have access to representation. We provide
community-based services that integrate the culture, values and norms of
those communities and maximize our effectiveness via close and mutually
supportive relationships with neighborhood organizations that share our
commitment to social and economic justice. We are also unique in serving
as the legal arm of local initiatives to rebuild and reviatlize our
communities. this work results in the creation of housing, child care and
health care facilities, development of schools, nursing homes, senior
citizen centers and jobs.
