Are you a New York City resident facing foreclosure?

You can contact The Center for New York City Neighborhoods (CNYCN) for help.  Dial 311 and ask for the Center for New York City Neighborhoods or say "Foreclosure." You can also call 646-786-0888 or go to the web at www.cnycn.org.

The Center for New York City Neighborhoods was created to coordinate and expand services to New York City residents at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure.  CNYCN partners with 30 nonprofit, community-based organizations to provide free housing counseling and legal assistance to people with low and moderate income levels living in New York City.  Call center specialists will ask callers about their financial situation and connect them to the appropriate free housing counseling or legal services providers in their communities.

CNYCN works with people who are:

* Concerned about losing their homes to foreclosure;

* Entangled in foreclosure rescue scams;

* Seeking legal advice prior to a court-mandated settlement conference with their lender;

* Choosing to sell their homes to avoid foreclosure, and needing real estate broker assistance;

* Interested in purchased foreclosed properties as affordable housing;

* Worried about abandoned properties in their neighborhoods; or

* Seeking information about the nature of the foreclosure crisis in their communities or throughout New York City.

Are you a New York State resident not residing in New York City and facing foreclosure?

Call the Homeowner's HOPE Hotline at 888-995-HOPE, a free counseling service provided by the Homeownership Preservation Foundation.

The sooner you call, the sooner you can regain your peace of mind. Remember, you're not alone. Millions of people across the United States have trouble with their mortgage every year.

Since 2002, the HPF network of counselors have provided advice and education to more than 500,000 homeowners.  Through the Homeowner's HOPE Hotline at 888-995-HOPE, the Homeownership Preservation Foundation has a single mission: to help homeowners avoid foreclosure. HPF is an independent nonprofit that provides counselors dedicated to helping homeowners from HUD certified housing counseling agencies.

Homeowner's HOPE Hotline counselors are experts in foreclosure prevention and trained to set up a plan of action designed just for you and your situation. When you talk to Hotline counselors, you won't be judged and you won't pay a dime. That's because counselors don't just offer general advice - they help you take action. Counselors will arm you with education and support that assists you in overcoming immediate financial issues... at no cost to you.
