About Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS)

Who We Are |
Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS) is a non-profit free legal aid program for low-income people. SLLS includes the offices known as New Orleans Legal Assistance or "NOLAC."
New Orleans Legal Assistance merged with SLLS in 2003 to provide clients better service across the region.
The combined offices of SLLS have served the Greater New Orleans community and Louisiana for 40 years.
Today, Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS) covers 10 southeastern Louisiana parishes:

SLLS works with community groups and social services agencies to provide up-to-date information about legal issues affecting low - income Louisiana residents.
SLLS also works on litigation and edcuation projects with legal advocacy organizations around the state and across the country to protect rights of low-income people and to improve their lives. |
