Estate planning, insurance, credit, housing, employment benefits-discrimination, public benefits, family law, and AIDS related legal problems for people with AIDS, HIV or a terminal illness.

Mission Statement:  To provide timely and compassionate legal services to low-income individuals with HIV, AIDS and terminal illnesses.

Current photo ID or proof of residency; physician's letter of diagnosis; verification of disability, if applicable (such as a determination letter from Social Security or a private disability insurance company); proof of income, proof of health insurance

Who We Serve

Languages Spoken  Spanish
Interpreters can be provided for: in-office appointments only
Wheelchair Accessible Y
Access for the deaf: ASL interpreters can be provided with advance notice; please call.
Income Guidelines: 

  At or below 300% of poverty level (adjusted) for HIV+ clients, at or below 125% for indigent non-HIV+ clients.
 
Other Requirements: For help, you must be:
  Person with AIDS
  You must have HIV/AIDS or a terminal illness.
 
Clients responsible for all filinf fees.

Emergency Instructions
If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
 
What is an emergency?  Subject to review on a case by case basis, for qualified clients only. An emergency exists if the client is imminently terminal. Intake can be taken by telephone of fax.
