Who We Are

Provides assistance with civil matters for clients who are elderly or have HIV/AIDS.

Mission Statement:  Dedicated to providing legal services for persons who, because of financial constraints and the nature of the legal issue, are unable to obtain legal representation.  STLC assists only those living with HIV/ AIDS at this time.

Languages Spoken  Spanish
Interpreters can be provided for: Spanish-speaking attorney on staff
Wheelchair Accessible Y
Income Guidelines: 
  Your family's income should be at or below 200.0% of the poverty level.

  200% of poverty level for elder law cases; up to 300% for HIV/AIDS cases
 
Other Requirements: For help, you must be:
  Person with AIDS
  This program does not serve prisoners
  Serves people who are elderly or persons w/ HIV

Emergency Instructions
If your problem is an emergency as described below, follow the contact instructions for emergency cases. Most offices are open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
 
What is an emergency?  Short-term help available for hearings, filings etc. Subject to review by staff. Non-criminal matters only.
