To use this site, click on a topic from the home page to explore what resources are available.  For example, if you are looking for information on dissolution of marriage (divorce), you would click on the Family Law topic.  A list of subtopics will appear.  Next you would click on Dissolution of Marriage to see what self-help and informational resources are available on that topic.  There are many resources available on this site.  Sometimes you have to scroll down the page to see all of the resources available.

After you click on a subtopic, make sure to look and see how many resources are available.  For example, when you click on the subtopic "Dissolution of Marriage", you'll see at the top of listing that there are 38 resources available.

Each resource has a short description following the title that describes what information you will find there.

Many resources are available in more than one format.  For example, if you click on the title of the resource, such as "General Information about Divorce", an html (web) document will open.  However, after the description you will notice the PDF icon that indicates this resources is also offered in that format.  PDF format is best for printing.  PDF files that contain court forms are print-only and the forms cannot be filled-in online.  If the resource is offered in another language, a link to the translation will be there as well.

Alternatively, you may use our search engine to find resources.  The search window is located in the yellow area on the right.  Type in a keyword and click on the orange button to view the results.  For example, you could type in the keyword "eviction" and a listing of available resources on the topic of eviction would appear.  See our Help with Using the Search Engine page for more information.

We strive to continually improve this site.  If you would like to share with us your comments and experience using this site, please send us a feedback form or complete our User Survey
