What is LiveHelp?

LiveHelp helps you find information on LawHelpMN.org.

You talk with a LawHelpMN.org Web site specialist by typing your question. You chat with LawHelpMN.org staff and volunteers. The staff and volunteers have been trained to help find information on LawHelpMN.org.

Who may use LiveHelp?

LiveHelp is for low- and moderate-income visitors to LawHelpMN.org. Other people who help low- and moderate-income people may also use LiveHelp.

When is LiveHelp available?

LiveHelp is usually available

  • Monday    9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Central)
  • Tuesday      9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Wednesday  9:00am - 4:00 pm
  • Thursday      9:30am - 4:30 pm
  • Friday        10:00 am - 5:00 pm

What types of questions can I ask?

LiveHelp will help you find information on LawHelpMN.org. LawHelpMN.org has information about common civil legal problems, such as divorce, parenting plans, landlord and tenant issues, and disability benefits. LawHelpMN.org does not have information about criminal issues.

We will do our best to find resources or give you a phone number where you can get more help.

Is LiveHelp Section 508 compliant?

LiveHelp uses LivePerson's Timpani software, which meets all current guidelines for compliance with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C.-794d) and ADA Guidelines.

The LivePerson software is designed to work with standard assistive technology hardware (such as specialty keyboards and Braille readers) as well as operating system technologies (such as stickykeys and mousekeys.)
